How the prepaid AI balance works, and what happens when it runs out.
Each customer has its own AI model gateway key, capped by a prepaid AI balance. That balance is the spending control for model usage.
Subscriptions, billing, and the AI credit ledger live on the StratiqAI control plane. Your environment can read its credit status. It cannot change the balance.
When the balance runs out
New AI work pauses until the balance is available again.
Bring your own model keys
Organizations with their own model provider agreements can supply their own keys. That keeps commercial terms, cost, and model choice with the firm.
